Booking Registrars

Once a couple have decided on their venue, they will need to contact us to book registrars.

For a civil marriage or civil partnership ceremony to be legal, two authorised registrars (employed by the local authority) must be in attendance to conduct and register the ceremony.

Bookings can be made up to 3 years in advance. Couples will be charged at the current years fees, regardless of the ceremony date. Fees are payable in full at the time of booking. Our fees can be found on our fee pages

Couples must book us directly, you as their venue cannot do this for them.

All bookings and payments must be made over the phone by debit or credit card (excluding Amex). If the person making the booking is not the card holder, the card holder must be present and the payment details confirmed by them.

Couples can contact our Ceremonies Hub by:

The Legal Bit

Couples are required to give notice before they are able to marry or form a civil partnership. This legal requirement must be completed in enough time ahead of the ceremony. Please refer your couples to the Giving Notice page for further information.
