Finding a venue local to you and majority of your guests will earn you some massive eco-points. The less travelling involved the smaller the carbon footprint of your ceremony.

Where travel is essential look at ways to offset the carbon or find greener alternatives such as cycling,  hiring a minibus to transport all your guests, car shares or public transport. 

Pick an Eco-Friendly Venue 

Choose a venue who take sustainability seriously. Ask them a few questions to find out about their eco ethos. 

What recycling facilities do they have? 

What's their policy on plastic use? 

Where do they source their ingredients from? 

What happens with their food waste?

Do they do any  carbon offsetting?
