Licensed Venue Fees

Fees include the attendance of a Celebrant and Registrar, two legal certificates and one commemorative certificate.

The fees for the use of your venue are set by the proprietors of that venue and must be paid directly to them.

Please ensure that you have reserved your booking with your chosen venue before booking your Registrars.

We can provide Celebrants and Registrars 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (subject to availability).

Bookings can be made up to 3 years in advance. 

Ceremony fees are payable in full at the time of booking.

Registrars' fees

Fees for the Registrars’ attendance at a licensed venue in East Sussex for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies booked before 31st March 2024:

9am - 4.30pm  
Monday - Thursday £595
Friday - Sunday £655
Public Holiday £885

Ceremony surcharges

The following charges apply in addition to those stated above:

Peak demand days (New Year's Day, Saturdays and Sundays of all Bank Holiday weekends, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day & New Year's Eve) £150
Ceremonies commencing from 5pm until 9.30pm £195
Ceremonies Commencing from 10pm until 8.30am £295

Two-part celebration ceremony add on*

(celebration ceremony in a non-licensed place, in addition to a legal ceremony taking place at the same venue immediately before or after.)
