Licensed Venues

The fees listed are for the attendance of a Celebrant and Registrar to conduct and legally register your marriage or civil partnership ceremony, two statutory certificates and one commemorative certificate.

The fees for the use of your venue are set by the proprietors of that venue and must be paid directly to them. You can find a full list of venues on our Find your perfect venue page.

Please ensure that you have reserved your booking with your chosen venue before booking your registrars.

Ceremony fees must be paid in full at the time of booking and includes a £100 non-refundable booking fee. Payments can be made by debit or credit card.

Registrars' fees

Registrars’ attendance fee for a Marriage or Civil Partnership at an approved venue in East Sussex for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies booked before 31st March 2020:

The following charges apply in addition to those stated above:

Peak Demand Days (New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Saturdays and Sundays of all Bank Holiday weekends, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day & New Year’s Eve)
