Licensed Venue Fees

Fees include the attendance of a Celebrant and Registrar, two statutory certificates and one commemorative certificate.

The fees for the use of your venue are set by the proprietors of that venue and must be paid directly to them.

Please ensure that you have reserved your booking with your chosen venue before booking your Registrars.

We can provide Celebrants and Registrars 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (subject to availability).

Bookings can be made up to 3 years in advance. 

Ceremony fees are payable in full at the time of booking. This fee includes a £100 non-refundable booking fee.

Registrars' fees

Fees for the Registrars’ attendance at a licensed venue in East Sussex for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies booked before 31st March 2021:

9am - 5pm  
Monday - Thursday £573
Friday - Sunday £623
Public Holiday £673

Ceremony surcharges

The following charges apply in addition to those stated above:

Peak demand days (New Year's Day, Saturdays and Sundays of all Bank Holiday weekends, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day & New Year's Eve) £100
Ceremonies commencing between 5.01pm and 9.59pm £150
Ceremonies Commencing between 10pm and 8.59am £250
Ceremony Preparation meeting (Optional) £60
Ceremony amendment fee £50
Commemorative certificate* £6
Silver-Plated certificate case* £20
Registrar's fountain pen* £10


*Price includes VAT charged at 20%
