Located on the first floor, the Mayor's Parlour is ideal for a more intimate occasion, accommodating up to 15 with seating for up to eight. The room is luxuriously decorated in blue and gold, with a beautiful fireplace and a stunning chandelier.
Named after the poet and painter Dante Gabriel Rossetti, who in 1860 wed Elizabeth Siddal here in Hastings. This room features a print of 'La Ghirlandata' one of Rossetti's paintings, which hangs above the fire place, as well as a large dresser and chandelier. Inspired by the Victorian Arts and Crafts movement, the decor of this ceremony room includes William Morris-style wallpaper and seating for 10.
For the slightly larger celebration the Council Chamber is perfect. This magnificent oak-panelled room, with large vaulted ceiling, is set behind ornate oak-panelled doors. A spacious room furnished with rich red carpet and chairs, with a central aisle, stained glass windows and an impressive Bath stone fireplace.
